The Professional Alterations Certificate is issued to students who satisfactorily complete each required skill in Professional Alterations I (SEF-SEW8300) and Professional Alterations II (SEF-SEW8301). This certificate will equip students to pursue employment in the alterations industry in such venues as dry cleaning businesses, bridal shops, and department store alterations departments, as well as opening up the possibility of starting a small business.
