RLS-REX7600 - Real Estate Broker Pre-licensing
Course Description
This course is approved by the North Carolina Real Estate Commission (NCREC) to satisfy the educational requirement necessary to sit for the state examination to become a licensed Provisional Broker.
- You will learn fundamental real estate principles and practices, along with the laws, rules, and regulations established by the NCREC, all designed to prepare you for the licensing exam.

Learner Outcomes
- To provide students with basic knowledge and skills necessary to function as an entry level real estate sales agent, and
- To help students prepare for the real estate salesperson license examination given monthly by the NC Real Estate Commission.
- To assist students in achieving a "Satisfactory" grade. The final exam grade must be a numerical grade of 75% or better. Details are provided in the course syllabus and course catalogue.
Notes
Purchase textbook and optional course materials prior to start of class. Students must attend at least 80 percent of class time and pass the course to receive a certificate of completion. Student learning will be assessed through two mid-course exams and a final end of course exam. Student must score a minimum grade of 75% or better on the final exam as well as meet other criteria as outlined in course syllabus.
