Course Description

This course is designed to teach students about how to help save a life during cardiac arrest, when the heart stops beating or beats too ineffectively to circulate blood to the brain and other vital organs. First aid is emergency care given immediately to an injured person. The purpose of first aid is to minimize injury and future disability.
