Course Description

This course is for the service technician and advisor who wants to produce a well-written repair order. Participants will learn how to professionally tell a story that includes the beginning, middle, and end. Participants will learn how to use techniques that will enhance their writing to tell a clear, concise, and detailed story that effectively conveys the 3C’s (complaint, cause, and correction).

  • How to evaluate repair orders for details that convey an efficient narrative of a complaint, cause, and correction  
  • How to create a repair order that effectively captures the beginning, middle, and end of a story 
  • How to utilize wordsmithing, sentence structure, and descriptor words to write a detailed story
