This course introduces Tall Fescue lawn care maintenance.  What to look for and how to improve your lawn/yard with tall fescue.

Come join many of your community members to learn how to maintain and grow a health Tall Fescue.  Great way to me reunite with friends, family, meet new people, network, share and learn.

Cool season vs Warm season turf - What is the difference between cool and warm season? Common types of each

Evaluating your yard and choosing your turf type - Sun or shade?, Do you have irrigation?, Soil type? Where do you live?  Are there microclimates in your landscape?

Soil Preparation- Preparing good seedbed for growing grasses, Soil amendments

Seeding- When to seed, Seeding rates, Types of equipment

Fertilizing and Weed Management -When to fertilize and how much to use, Types of fertilizers, Weed management options
