Course Description

This course provides students with the necessary knowledge and skills needed to take the Federal Aviation Administration’s (FAA) instrument rating written exam. Topics will include basic altitude, flight systems and instruments, holding procedures, ATC systems and procedures, instrument approach procedures, and emergency procedures.

Learner Outcomes

Upon successful completion of the instrument ground school, students will have gained the knowledge needed to take the FAA’s instrument written exam.
