Course Description

This course teaches electric relay control of AC electric motors found in industrial, commercial, and residential applications. Participants will learn electrical motor control, motor control & overload protection, control transformers, control logic, and relays & starters.

Learner Outcomes

Upon completion of this class, participants will be able to:

1. Safely operate electric relay-controlled machines.

2. Connect manual motor controls and overload protections.

3. Access control transformers and ladder logic.

4. Organize control relays and motor starters.
