Learner Outcomes
1. Define Domestic Violence and identify proper methods for serving and enforcing domestic violence protective orders.
2. Demonstrate the proper procedures to follow in enforcing out-of-state domestic violence protective orders.
3. List the three types of Executions and demonstrate the proper methods for executing each type.
4. Identify the proper persons authorized to serve and execute on judgments under the statutory requirements.
5. Demonstrate how to locate and identify property subject to levy under execution.
6. Execute a return on an execution that complies with thestatutory requirements.
7. Demonstrate how to properly serve and execute a writ of possession for real property of a residence.
8. Demonstrate how to properly serve and execute a writ of possession for personal property.
9. Identify the proper role of a law enforcement officer in self-help evictions and repossessions.
10. Discuss and apply the 2005 revisions of the Federal Bankruptcy Code to executions and writs of possession.
