Course Description

Participants will gain an understanding of the state and federal court structures and will survey a variety of state and federal employment laws. Students will review real life applications of most of the laws and put their training to use in a mock sexual harassment trial.

Learner Outcomes

Upon successful completion of this course, the participants will be able to:

  • Identify employment laws applicable in a variety of situations encountered in human resource practice.

  • Put in place employment policies and practices to comply with various employment laws.
