This 2-day course addresses key aspects of conducting child exploitation suspect interviews by examining the proper techniques and case studies from experienced ICAC investigators.

Learner Outcomes

Students will learn from a phased interview model, which includes preparation, execution, and conclusion of a suspect interview. Additionally, participants will identify special techniques to effectively elicit information from suspects; understanding the importance of obtaining suspect confessions; and will participate in experiential suspect interview exercises.
