Description:

This course is one of three post-licensing courses designed to assist the "provisional" broker to meet the 90-hour post-licensing educational requirement set by the North Carolina Real Estate Commission (NCREC). All Post Licensing must be completed within the prescribed period of time after initial licensure.

2. Brokerage Compensation issues 4.0 hours

3. Disciplinary Process 3.0 hours

4. Specialized types of Real Estate 4.5 hours

5. Property Management 6.0 hours

6. Miscellaneous NC Laws and Legal Concepts 7.0 hours

End of course Exam 1.0 hours

 

Learner Outcomes

  • To provide instruction at a level beyond the prelicensing courses on topics deemed to be of special importance.
  • To gain an overview of Real Estate specialties, and
  • To assist students in satisfactory completion of the course.

Evaluation:

Examinations with a cumulative score of 90% and 90% attendance.

Notes

A textbook is required and may be utilized across all three post-licensing courses. According to the NCREC, students are obligated to fulfill a 90% attendance requirement and successfully pass the course examination.

Prerequisite: To register for this course, you must have your Real Estate license number. 

Materials:

  1. The Learn Test Pass digital textbook is used for all three Broker Post Licensing courses. 
  2. You must acquire your "NC Real Estate Manual" prior to the commencement of classes.

2. Accessing your CPCC Email – Your Certificate of Completion will be emailed to this email address.

3. Brightspace Login - Brightspace will be accessible on the first day of class. Your course materials and End-of-Class Exam will be administered through Brightspace.
