Course Description

  • INTD/TERT: Incident Tactical Dispatcher - Staffs a radio and/or phone at the incident command center and is responsible for documenting incoming radio and telephone messages. TERT: Tactical Emergency Response Telecommunicator – Telecommunicator that can respond/deploy to other agencies/jurisdictions staffing an emergency communications center during major emergencies/incidents.

  • Physically prepare for deployment to a disaster area.
  • Describe the role of interpersonal communication in a disaster area.
  • Prepare to work as a telecommunicator in a disaster area.
