This course is for drug, criminal and fugitive investigators or analysts.

1. The course offer techniques technology and intelligence resources.

2. Proactive investigation methods and telephone exploitation techniques.

The following topics will be discussed:

1. Students will learn deconfliction and utilizing pens/pings.

2. Students will learn about utilizig social media, IP addresses, wiretap basics, and intelligence development.

3. Students will learn how to utilize resources of agencies at the federal and state levels.

4. Students will be exposed to case studieshighligting various practices.

Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:

1. Learn about various proactive investigative methods.

2. Learn how to obtain records, analysis and mapping.

3. Students will learn how to investigate targetw with an informant.
