Course Description

Enjoy dancing? Want to perfect your line dancing skills? Want to learn popular line dances so you can strut your stuff at that next big event this Spring and Summer?  If so, this line dance class is where you need to be! 

Line dancing is a sequence of steps synchronized and arrange in rows or a line.  It is often done to a variety of music such as Rhythm and Blues, Latin, Jazz, Country Western and several other genres.  Join us as we get fit and have a blast!  Space is limited.  Get ready to dance!

Course Outline

  • Beginner basics to intermediate level.
  • Starts with basics and builds to encompass popular types and styles.
  • Each class will focus on developing skills and the transitioning of steps of various forms of line dancing.
  • Promotes improved coordination, enhanced memory retention, and increased energy.
  • Learn multiple styles, step variations, and popular line dances like: Power Jam, Cupid Shuffle, Wobble, Tamia Line Dance, Bailando - Salsa , Boots On the Ground, A Bar Song Line Dance, and more
