Course Description

This course provides students with the necessary knowledge and skills needed to sit for the FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Knowledge Test. Students will gain an introduction to commercial, government, and recreational drone applications. The following topics will be highlighted in class: regulations, weather, airspace, human factors, and sUAS performance. In addition to theory, students will also receive hands-on training and learn the fundamentals of flight, navigation, safety protocol, and flying techniques. Concepts related to safe and legal operation in accordance with federal and state regulations will be discussed throughout the course.
