Course Description

Do you have a sewing machine with many great features but find you’re limited to just a couple simple functions because it’s overwhelming to learn to use? Bring it to this class and learn to comfortably operate and maintain your machine. Understand the importance of the manual and learn to use various feet, stitches, and fabric as you complete a small project. Class size is very limited to allow personal attention from our experienced instructor. Specialty machines (sergers, overlock, etc.) are not covered in this class.

Course Outline

  • Thorough review of each student's sewing machine manual
  • Practice sewing to gain proficiency

Learner Outcomes

Students will be led through a detailed trip through the manual for their sewing machines.

They will be equipped to use their machine more fully than before this class.

Notes

Students must bring their own sewing machines and a printed copy of the sewing machine manual. You will also need to bring basic sewing tools to class (thread, scissors, etc.)
