Course Description
This online class will cover the basics for Improvised Explosive Devices (IED's) that cover police, civilian and military examples. The types of explosives and components will be covered. This course covers the effects of explosives and forensic evidence found at the scene. Extensive photos and links to videos for each type of explosive are exhibited. Pipe bombs, letter, brief case and vehicle type bombs are discussed. Lab analysis, residue issues and taggants are also covered.
