Course Description
This training program helps participants quickly develop the knowledge and skills needed to gain employment in the construction industry. Students will be introduced to learning safety precautions and awareness. The ability to understand drawings and layouts, as well as tools and building techniques of the trade found on a typical job site will be discussed. Students will be able to identify power tools and describe their uses. The program is taught by National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) certified instructors from Central Piedmont Community College who will help you build a foundation of knowledge, while helping you earn industry-recognized credentials to kick-start your career.Course Outline
