Course Description
This course covers the laws, procedures, and specifications needed to perform a North Carolina State Safety and OBD
inspection. Topics include brake, steering and suspension, lighting, horn, windshield wiper, tires, mirrors, and emission control
devices inspection. Upon completion, students should be able to perform complete and thorough North Carolina Safety and OBD
inspections.
***Prior to coming to class, please ensure that you bring a physical copy of the LT-310 form filled out in its entirety, front and back. Be sure that your supervisor has printed their name and signed as well. If your supervisor is not available to sign your document, anyone who can make financial decisions at your company is eligible to sign.***
