Course Description

This course is designed to provide students with the entry level knowledge and skills to practice as an emergency services telecommunicator

Learner Outcomes

Identify and demonstrate the general operation of the major equipment components of a modern telecommunications center.

List and identify the major equipment the major information resources available to asssist in the practice of telecommunications.

Identify, explain and demonstrate comon call reception, prioritization and resource allocation practices associated with everyday telecommiunications.

Identify and explain the aspects of civil liability for the professional telecommunicator.
