Course Description

This course is designed to educate the investigating Detective or Crime Scene responder on the typology of adult and child sex offender’s, how to analyze which type of offender based upon victim statements and offender background. Utilizing this information, the Detective or Crime Scene responder will have a better understanding of what type of evidence could be available while conducting searches of the offender’s residence or property.

Day 2

Interview Considerations for Child Victims to include coordination with Forensic Interviewers
Case Studies of the Different Typologies
Evidence Considerations for Child Offenders

Day 3

Mock Crime Scenes and Interviews
